Stage-Storage Curve
As the lake level drops the amount of water available between a given water level in the lake and the lower rule band can be expressed by means of the stage storage curve. It's the volume of water in the lake at the lake level minus the volume at the rule band setting. The stage storage curve is derived from the latest bathymetric data [2] (my interpretation; to be verified).
The lake volume as a function of the lake level (> 2445 ft) is given by the following expression:
- V = 1.0511e+07 - 8696.8 * L + 1.7989 * L2
- V = Lake Volume, acre-feet
- L = Lake Level, ft ASL
