ERM Studies
Environmental Resources Management (ERM) has performed several studies for the Garrettt County Department of Planning and Zoning to assess the impact of residential and visitor expansion on the resources of the county. This is one of their reports, published in 2004.
Chamber of Commerce Studies
In 2008 The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce contracted with the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources Program of West Virginia University to do a four-season tourism survey and economic impact study for the period August 2008 through July 2009. A summary of the results of this survey can be found here, with the details in the final report.
